The doctor author recounts his life story, from his days as a medical student, his wartime service in North Africa and Italy as Regimental Medical Officer of the 12th (HAC) Royal Horse Artillery at Monte Cassino, early promotion to Major based at the Venice Lido and then to Austria. Post war he was medical superintendent in Eastbourne and held various posts of responsibility in medical authorities. Local newspaper clipping of the doctor and a review of the book included.
